Why it makes sense to add images to your social media posts
Utilising Social Media means you have to get your point across using minimal words.
However, I see many a post where an image could have made all the difference between a successful message and one that fell on deaf ears.
Every day we are exposed to over 5000 marketing and advertising messages – that’s a lot of noise for your tiny tweet or status feed. How can you up the chances of your tweets or other social media posts standing out?
The answer? Adding an image. While an image never guarantees a ‘like’, retweet or favourite, it does substantially increase the chance of added exposure.

Adding an image to Social Media can be frustrating and probably a major reason why you may not be adding visual appeal. If you are not savvy with Photoshop or Indesign, we would suggest a clever free tool called Canva. Set-up for free and either import your own images or purchase from their own stock library at $1 per image. With pre-set templates for Twitter and Facebook, creating attractive social media images becomes a breeze.
